Travis is a healthcare technology disruptor, a passionate entrepreneur, and a charismatic leader. Leveraging his diverse educational background in business, finance, and medicine, Travis creates products and services that have dramatically enhanced the way people do business and the way patients experience healthcare.
A firm believer that technology can improve healthcare, Amy spent years implementing and building EMR and Practice Management applications. But her daughter’s rare medical diagnosis in June 2010 opened Amy’s eyes to a new set of challenges in healthcare: keeping care organized, efficient, and effective. The experience helped shape the foundation of CareSync in 2011. Today, Amy's strategic guidance across multiple departments helps CareSync deliver better coordinated care to its members and their families.
Joy has more than 25 years of progressive leadership experience, including serving as COO, Network Solutions, at Healthways, the largest independent global provider of well-being solutions. At CareSync, Joy plays a key role in expanding the company's overall strategic directives and guiding the company and its customers through the financial transformations the shift to value-based care and MACRA regulations require.
Dr. Mihale is a physician, healthcare executive, and entrepreneur. Having founded multiple healthcare technology companies, his expertise in business, medicine, healthcare, and insurance make him an asset to every department at CareSync, especially sales and business development. He is also responsible for designing and managing regulatory and clinical workflow processes for CareSync Plus professional services.
With nearly 20 years of technology experience, Mano is a senior-level technology strategist focused on developing and implementing new healthcare products and services. He leads CareSync’s internal, managed care, and software and development operations, as well as internal security. As CTO, he is instrumental in both defining and translating the strategic vision to create robust, easy to use, and effective solutions for both patients and clinicians.
Mike has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare IT and services industry, including serving as a member of sales management for Allscripts and, previously, Cerner. As he leads CareSync’s national expansion into the mid- and enterprise markets, Mike’s efforts will enhance the way providers leverage CareSync’s solutions to practically achieve the clinical and financial goals of value-based care.
Lisa combines extensive product management, leadership, usability, and logistics experience in healthcare to help shape CareSync’s products and services. She leads projects with design processes focused on workflow, multi-platform consistencies, and current market trends. Her eye for great design and usability is integral to CareSync's overall design and development.
Dr. Kropp, who also serves on CareSync’s Advisory Board of Directors, is a triple-boarded physician executive and Hopkins-trained informaticist with 12 years of clinical practice experience and 20 years of managed care experience, including 15 years in senior leadership and operational roles. Previous roles included Sr. Medical Director and VP of Clinical Transformation for Aetna’s Accountable Care Solutions and Chief Medical Officer for CIGNA Healthcare of Florida.
Jason has more than 20 years of nursing, healthcare informatics, and consulting experience, as well as a background in strategic IT support for solutions that improve care, revenue, and population health. He is responsible for enhancing connectivity and quality initiatives for our physician partners to ensure seamless technology implementation, process adoption, and effective care coordination programs. He also provides physician education, regulatory guidance, and clinical support across all departments.
Prior to joining CareSync, Allison was Associate Senior Counsel at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. She serves as CareSync's primary in-house counsel, providing guidance in contractual matters and the areas of HIPAA privacy and security, risk management, and more.
Courtney is a creative marketing and corporate communications professional and a passionate leader in consumer health transformation. A strong advocate for patients and their families, Courtney often speaks at events and on panels about medical records, chronic care management, patients’ rights under HIPAA, and the tools and services available to help families experience better healthcare.
Russell manages and develops CareSync’s clinical services functions to ensure quality patient care, safe operations, and high member satisfaction. He also provides direction for the clinical operations department to help reduce costs and enhance system integration. A former Naval officer, Russell has held several significant leadership positions in various healthcare settings, including Allscripts, Napier Healthcare, Bayer Healthcare, and Allegheny Health Network.
With over 25 years of experience in financial, operational, and strategic direction, Mark spearheads CareSync’s financial planning and forecasting efforts, monitors and manages performance and opportunities, and assists with investor relations. Mark’s efforts are instrumental in helping the company expand its healthcare IT footprint and ensuring customers achieve the financial goals of value-based care.
Teri is responsible for directing all of the personnel functions of CareSync. She supports strategic human resource planning to provide the company with the best talent available and to position CareSync as the Employer of Choice. Previous roles included Senior Talent Business Partner for GTE Financial credit union and Senior Vice President of People Strategies and Resources for CCS Medical.
Sean, who is also a CareSync Board of Directors Member, is an internationally recognized pioneer in creating marketplaces and companies that disintermediate opaque products and services for the benefit of the larger community of users. An entrepreneur for 35 years, Sean spent the first 25 years of his career in the financial industry before shifting his efforts to support early-stage healthcare opportunities focused on the consumerization of healthcare.
Gurpreet provides leadership around healthcare interoperability, making it easier for patients and providers to access data. His extensive experience includes serving as Chief Technology Officer of MD Revolution, founding or co-founding several technology and IT solutions companies, and holding engineering and management roles at Visa International, IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center, and Morgan Stanley.
